Briel introduced its first espresso coffee maker in 1982. The innovative character of Briel's new coffee maker model proved so successful that Briel decided to abandon its original mission of producing a large range of small electrical appliances in order to focus exclusively on domestic espresso machines. Briel has since continued to introduce innovative solutions and constantly pursue high standards of quality and good design.
