I just got off the phone with Hamilton Beach, and they told me they don't guarantee the grids; and all the paint is coming off. They said it's okay to eat the paint. I can't believe what they told me. That's it for me and any Hamilton Beach product!

Great grill, large cooking area, grill plates are dishwasher-safe and the drip tray is secure but easy to remove so cleanup is easy.\n\nThere are no real cons for this grill if what you want is a grill; it has no temperature controls but that's not a big deal, it has no interchangeable plates but again that's not a real problem. The only serious issue is that it's so big! It takes up a lot of space on the counter and the plates take up a lot of room in the dishwasher, but if you want to cook more than a couple of burgers it would be hard to find a better grill. George doesn't know Jack about grills compared to this one!

I use this product to grill steaks, chicken, turkey cutlets, fish, and hamburgers.\n\nI like the fact that it cooks both sides at the same time. Most meats are done in 5-6 minutes.
