I love this item. I was reluctant when I saw the break away cord, but I know that's what the experts recommend. It didn't seem stable and I thought that I would be constantly replugging it back into the fryer. I have never had any problems with the cord.\n\nI have fried everything from fish to chicken to fries and it doesn't leave an old residue from the fish taste on the fries. I love this product!
